Civil Engineer (Sibu)

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Civil Engineer to join our growing construction team in Sibu, Sarawak.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with relevant construction site experience are highly welcome.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and understand construction and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of construction progress monitoring and site documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.
• Willing to work at construction sites and travel within Sarawak when required.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence is an advantage.

Job Scopes:

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, and work quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project team members.
• Assist in planning and coordinating site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings and technical documents.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, and construction problems to the project team.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and relevant project documentation.
• Assist in monitoring construction materials, resources, and site activities.
• Ensure site work follows relevant safety requirements and company procedures.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned.
