Assistant Engineer (Kota Kinabalu)

Job Location: Mile 7.5, Jalan Tuaran, Inanam Industrial Estate, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Working Days & Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 am - 05:00 pm
• Saturday: 08:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Sunday: Rest

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Good technical analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in manufacturing or related industrial environmental will be an advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment

Job Scopes:

• Reports to: Factory Manager
• Observe and practice safe and hazard-free work procedures.
• Compile, verify and maintain daily production data and records from relevant sections.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports, including output, yield, billet consumption, rejection, cobble, downtime and other relevant performance data.
• Prepare production performance summaries, basic trend analysis and supporting information.
• Monitor submission of required reports and follow up on discrepancies, outstanding information and action items with relevant sections.
• Compile technical and operational data to support production, quality, maintenance and process improvement activities.
• Assist in preparing management reports, presentations, meeting materials and other factory-related documents.
• Arrange meetings, take minutes and coordinate the distribution and follow-up of meeting actions.
• Maintain proper filing, retrieval and traceability of factory records and documents.
• Assist in updating procedures, forms, records and other factory documentation as assigned.
• Assist in providing training, briefing and information to factory personnel as assigned.
