Lorry Driver (Kuala Lumpur)

Requirements

• Possess a valid GDL (Goods Driving Licence).
• Physically fit and able to lift and handle goods.
• Basic knowledge of truck maintenance.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as hand pallet trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts. Forklift licence is an added advantage.
• Familiar with delivery routes within the company’s operating areas.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Responsible, disciplined, honest, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Willing to work overtime (OT) on weekends, public holidays, and travel outstation when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the company truck to deliver goods to customers or designated locations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed properly, according to schedule and within the required timeframe.
• Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage.
• Plan the most efficient delivery routes to save time and costs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the truck and ensure it is always in good and safe working condition.
• Comply with all road regulations, company safety policies, and work procedures.
• Willing to travel outstation when required.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods onto/from trucks.
• Perform picking, packing, and preparation of customer orders for delivery.
• Arrange and organize stock on shelves according to the company’s storage system.
• Ensure the warehouse is always clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other duties related to logistics and warehouse operations as assigned by the supervisor.
