Job Responsibilities

  • Perform statutory audit assignments for clients from various industries.
  • Carry out audit fieldwork, including vouching, verification of transactions, and supporting documents.
  • Prepare audit working papers and ensure proper documentation in accordance with auditing standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and related reports.
  • Perform analytical reviews, reconciliations, and audit testing procedures.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain accounting records, supporting documents, and audit information.
  • Identify accounting or audit issues and report findings to the audit senior or manager.
  • Assist clients in resolving audit queries in a professional manner.
  • Ensure audit assignments are completed within the stipulated timeline.
  • Perform other audit-related duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in an audit or accounting firm.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and Malaysian taxation.
  • Able to perform audit assignments independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and/or MPERS will be an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
