Job Description
Requirements:
Possess 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Preferably experienced in civil construction projects, including infrastructure, earthworks, utilities, or related works.
Strong experience in the preparation, evaluation, and management of progress claims, variation claims, and subcontractor claims.
Willing and able to travel to project sites, including rural and remote locations, to support site measurement, progress claim preparation, project monitoring, and coordination with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit progress claims to clients based on work completed and contractual requirements.
Review, verify, and evaluate subcontractor progress claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
Prepare, assess, and manage variation orders (VO), including measurement, cost evaluation, submission, and negotiation.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and contract expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation.
Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of works to identify cost implications and risks.
Maintain proper documentation and records for claims, variations, payments, and contract
Assist in contract administration, including preparation of interim payment certificates and final accounts.
Provide cost reports and updates to Management/project teams.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
