Site Draftsman (Kota Kinabalu)

Working Days & Hours:

• Monday to Friday (From 09:00 am to 05:30 pm)
• Saturday (From 09:00 am to 04:00 pm)

Job Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience as a Draftsman in an Architect Firm or Interior Design Firm;
• Expert level of proficiency in AutoCAD;
• Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Drafting, Architecture or related technical field;
• Deep understanding of geometric dimension & tolerancing (GD&T), drafting conventions and material properties;
• Soft Skills: Excellent spatial reasoning, meticulous attention to details and strong communication skills.

Job Scopes:

• STATIONED AT SITE OFFICE (location will be disclosed to accepted candidate).
• DRAFTING: Produce accurate, scaled technical drawings, blueprints, schematics and maps using CAD software (AutoCAD);
• INTERPRETATION: Interpret and convert sketches, field notes, specifications and red-line markups from engineering and architects into precise digital drawings;
• REVISION MANAGEMENT: Review and revise drawings to reflect design changes, ensuring all documents are current and compliant with project specifications and industry standards;
• DOCUMENTATION: Organize and maintain database of all design documentation, drawing files and project specifications;
• COLLABORATION: Work closely with engineer, constructions and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings meet functional requirements and manufactural/buildable standards’
• COMPLIANCE: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry-specific standards (e.g: ISO, ASME, Local codes).
