Production Supervisor (Tamparuli)

Working Hours & Days:

• Working Hours: From 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
• Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Requirements:

• A diploma in Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred;
• A candidate with extensive relevant manufacturing experience like 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and metal frame manufacturing, but without tertiary qualifications, can be considered.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production supervisor or team leader role.
• Experience supervising 10-20 production employees is an advantage.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings,
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of production planning, workflow management and quality control.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Able to motivate, train and develop production staff
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Melayu. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Able to write in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Possess a valid Class D driving licence
• Able to drive a forklift.
• Physically fit and willing to work overtime when required.

Job Scope:

• Supervise daily production operations.
• Plan manpower and machine utilisation.
• Ensure production targets are achieved.
• Ensure SOP and safety compliance.
• Monitor quality and productivity.
• Prepare daily production reports.
• Train new workers.
• Coordinate with QAQC, Store, Customer Service and Admin.
• Maintain 5S.
• To carry out any other duties as and when assigned and required by the management

• Salary Range: RM 3500-RM 4000
