Medical Officer/Doctor (Batu Pahat)

Location : Careclinics Al Amin Batu Pahat, Johor

Responsibilities include:

• Providing consultations, treatment and medications to patients.
• Managing and ensuring the clinic’s smooth operation.
• Keep up-to-date with current medical developments, medications and treatment.
• Teaching and supervising staff nurse and clinic assistant.
• To ensure compliance with SOP, regulations and medical protocols.
• Manage primary care cases example vaccination, emergency cases, common acute illnesses, chronic diseases, IV cannular insertion, blood taking etc
• Perform minor surgeries surgical procedures.
• Attend courses and necessary training from time to time.
• Conducting routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues.
• Giving appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health.
• Conducting examinations to ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition.
• Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness.
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history.
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities.
• Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.

Job Requirements

• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and has a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Possess a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical healthcare field.
• Has experience in performing procedures and operating ultrasound machines.
• Experience in handling medical and surgical emergencies
• Clean record of professional practice
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
