Safety Officer (Kuala Lumpur)

Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Safety Officer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, developing emergency response plans, managing safety systems, and promoting environmental health and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
• Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure preparedness for unforeseen events
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the workplace
• Manage safety management systems to promote a safe working environment
• Promote environmental health and safety practices among employees
• Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Experience in conducting safety inspections and developing emergency response plans
• Proficiency in safety management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Salary Range: RM 2,500 to RM 4,000 per month
