Position Overview

  • Salary: Up to RM 4,000 Max (Commensurate with experience)
  • Work Location: Jalan Bersatu 13/4, Seksyen 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Full-Time-Contract (Renewable based on performance evaluation by client after 1 year)
  • Work Arrangement: Work From Office (WFO)

Key Responsibilities

Managing the payroll functions across our South ASEAN Hub (including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia), your duties will include:

  • Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Manage multi-country payroll processing and related statutory reporting in strict compliance with local legal, tax, and regulatory requirements in a timely manner.
  • Vendor Management: Supervise and coordinate with third-party payroll vendors across selected regional hubs. 
  • Financial Closing: Perform standard financial closing activities for all payroll-related transactions.
  • Tax Coordination: Handle expatriate tax compliance and support EA and tax calculations.
  • Internal Audits & Controls: Execute standard internal control procedures for regional payroll operations; collect and provide necessary documentation for tax, corporate, internal, and labor ministry audits.
  • Claims Processing: Process employee claims and expense reimbursements accurately in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Accountancy or its equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on working experience in payroll management.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Strong familiarity with EA forms, statutory regulations, and multi-regional tax structures.
  • Language: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Attributes: Mature, highly meticulous, and possesses a keen eye for detail with the ability to deliver accurate outputs within short turnarounds.
