Salary Range: RM 2,300.00 – RM 2,400.00 / month (Includes RM 100 phone allowance)
Job Type: Full Time-Renewable Contract (based on client's demand and evaluation)
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Supervisor & Manager at client side.
Job Overview
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and analytical Senior Assistant, Route Dispatcher to join our client's operations team in Puchong. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring logistics performance, tracking inventory/parcels, and ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations. You should be comfortable working independently as a sole contributor while collaborating effectively with internal floor teams and external stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Operational Supervision: Assist the Supervisor in daily activities and immediately attend to operational problems reported on the floor.
- Tracking & Reporting: Track, update, and maintain reports in the shared drive. Monitor operational activities through SA reports and feedback.
- Parcel & Exception Management: Check for pending inbound and damage claim parcels; investigate delays and report findings to the Supervisor.
- Stakeholder Follow-up: Coordinate with sellers and delivery stations to resolve pending or missing parcels.
- Logistics & Compliance: Monitor the truck staggered arrival plan against actual arrival times. Highlight any mis-scans or operational wrongdoings immediately.
- Returns & Asset Tracking: Ensure the Repro team processes return shipments daily and keep department asset records completely up to date.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor First Mile (FM) courier performance and productivity.
- Team Morale: Send appreciation messages and foster a motivating environment for the team.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in logistics, courier, or warehouse operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Language: Good understanding and command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle difficult situations. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Mobility: Must possess own transport and be willing/able to comply with a periodic travel/visit schedule within the designated coverage area.
- Work Style: Comfortable acting as a sole contributor while remaining a highly collaborative team player.
