Job Description

Working Days & Hours:

  • Working Hours: From 8:00 am to 4.30 pm
  • Work Days: Monday to Friday and Alternate Saturday

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Degree qualification in logistic / supply chain.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in warehousing / logistic / production leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people acumen.
  • Strong planning / organizing skill.
  • Have the knowledge of ISO for 9001, 45001 & 14001 .
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Samalaju, Bintulu Sarawak.

Job Scopes:

  • To oversee the material movement/ handling at the back-end of production supporting the production and planning and sales team in a timely manner.
  • Develop the strategy/ tactic for the logistic team to achieve target efficiency.
  • Establish / Follow management system (Plan, Do, Check, Act) within the team so that it can operate in a sustainable manner.
  • Understand material movement within site and drive continuous improvement. Always seek for lean opportunities and implement.
  • The back-end process is after products packaging. It includes transferring activity from WIP area to final warehouses, storage, arrangement and delivery to customers (both trailers and containers).  The back-end movement/ handling will need to be mindful of external customer requirement.
  • Responsible on the utilization of the warehouse space and storage according to various product grades.
  • Responsible on managing and ensuring the accuracy of product storage warehouse inventories, perform periodical stock count activity.
  • Responsible on ensuring the products are delivered on schedule and to the correct destination by strictly following the sales picking orders.
  • Responsible for a variety of tasks, including stock levels, transportation costs, delivery times, supervising staff and their tasks, organize and execute tasks etc in the organized and efficient manner.
  • Understand and able to determine how to get the items to be delivered and then predict the most cost-effective method of transporting those products with effective communication and coordination with the transporter and sales department.
  • Collaborating with different divisions within the business to enhance logistics.
  • Developing and maintain procedures and systems for scheduling and distribution operations and also warehouse stock management.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties or assignment when assigned by Superior.
