Chief Engineer (Tawau)

Job Overview :

• We are seeking a highly experienced and capable Chief Engineer to lead and oversee engineering works for our ongoing and upcoming projects in Tawau.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and extensive experience handling government-related construction projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage all engineering aspects of construction projects
• Oversee project planning, design coordination, and execution
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors
• Review and approve engineering drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
• Monitor project progress, quality, and performance
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving on-site
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope

Job Requirements :

• Proven experience in government projects (mandatory)
• Strong experience dealing with authorities, consultants, and contractors
• In-depth knowledge of:
• Engineering design
• Project management
• Technical standards and compliance
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
