2 years experience in Ship Building / Ship Repairing Industry
1 year experience in same capacity – Assistant Project Engineer
Knowledge in project commissioning in the ship building / ship repairing sector and able to control suppliers and
MS Excel, MS Word, Autocad, MS Projects
Proficient in English language, Malay language, both spoken and written. Mandarin will be advantage
Job Scopes :
Coordinate new building construction or ship repair work.
Liaise with each trade for daily production issue and work with others department to solve on site issue on the spot. Feedback to superior if require further advice or action.
Oversee assign project / repair work quality and HSE compliance.
Task to keep track each trade to work according to detail work plan and achieve daily target.
Coordinate with related department for equipment / machineries install on board and temporary protection till commissioning work.
Work with each trade to ensure max work can proceed concurrently.
Work with the team to have recovery plan if behind schedule and foresee any slippage.
Coordinate with production / resource planner and each trade to prepare all material in advance.
Work with the team to generate or verify work done for each trade.
Work with the team to ensure material / equipment / machineries readiness and not to delay production /ship repair.
Monitor and track production / ship repair progress and manpower loading ensure each task complete on time and within allocate man hour and material.
Work with each trade to ensure they execute detail production planning according to main project construction plan.
Generate any require daily, weekly, and monthly report for production / ship repair.
Prepare work done / job report for production and ship repair.
Comply to company ISO standard such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 etc.
Undertake any other related by superior from time to time.
