Electrical Inspector-Of-Work (Daro)

• Work Days: Monday to Friday | Working Hours: From 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
• Saturday (8.00am - 12.00pm)

Job Requirements :

• Recognized Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering
• Compulsory registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Inspector of Works (IOW).
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in supervising Electrical works, with technical expertise and knowledge in QA/QC for electrical works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Posess knowledge of project site coordination and work management.

Job Scopes :

• Perform on-site inspection work to ensure compliance to the construction specifications, legislations, project timeline and quality standard expected.
• Ensure the materials used conformed to the approved specifications/inspection test plan.
• Monitor contractors’ work at each stage of construction and carried out in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications within the time stipulated in the contracts.
• Witness testing and commissioning of all electrical services work done.
• Providing regular reports on findings to all parties.
• Administering day-to-day matters arising between Consultant and Contractor on unspecified elements of works.
• Attending site meeting when required.
• Carry out final inspections and handovers including ensuring that all as-built drawings are prepared and copies are kept with relevant superiors prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion.
• Ensure all relevant forms, documents, correspondence and records in repect of work progress are kept in good condition and for easy retrieval.

Salary Range :

• Salary Range: RM 3,188.00 to RM 4,500.00
