Job Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, orderly and welcoming. This role supports high standards of cleanliness, comfort and guest satisfaction in hotels, resorts or similar hospitality establishments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards
  • Make beds, change linens and replace towels
  • Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitize rooms and bathrooms
  • Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, coffee, amenities)
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance issues
  • Follow health, safety and hygiene regulations
  • Handle guest requests politely and professionally
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas
  • Report lost and found items according to company policy
