Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience with a strong track record in managing sales or marketing activities in manufacturing, timber, or related fields.
Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and excellent follow-up abilities.
Solid knowledge of marketing techniques, principles, and brand development strategies.
High creativity, strong commercial awareness, and good business acumen.
Strong understanding of market research methods, statistical/data analysis, and competitor analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead sales and marketing efforts for Samling Timber Products (Wood Pellets, Plywood, Furniture) to achieve revenue growth and business expansion.
Conduct detailed market research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support marketing strategies.
Plan, organise, and participate in marketing events, exhibitions, and activities to enhance brand visibility and generate new business leads.
Develop and execute advertising and promotional campaigns across various media platforms
Oversee the creation of promotional materials and coordinate the fulfilment of sample requests and marketing literature.
Identify and develop new customers, markets, and business opportunities to expand sales coverage.
Plan and manage marketing strategies, production scheduling, and customer order fulfilment to ensure needs are met accurately and on time.
Prepare weekly reports on sales performance, order status, and market forecasting for management review.
Maintain and grow sales revenue to meet company targets and profitability goals.
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
