Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking on behalf of our client for a Quality Assurance Specialist to manage and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS). This role requires strong ISO 9001 knowledge, hands-on audit experience, and the ability to communicate confidently with both local teams and international customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 Quality Management System

  • Prepare and maintain quality system documents (Quality Manual, SOPs, procedures)

  • Plan, conduct, and report internal audits

  • Coordinate and professionally host customer and external audits

  • Handle audits from foreign customers (Europe, USA, Japan, Korea)

  • Prepare corrective and preventive action plans and follow up on improvements

  • Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 8D and 5 Why

  • Develop process flow charts and support process improvement activities

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality compliance

Mandatory Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum: Diploma in Engineering, Science, or Quality Management (or related field)
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree; ISO Internal Auditor Certification

Work Experience

  • Mandatory: 2–3 years of QMS experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Preferred: Experience in die-casting, machining, or metalworking

  • Strong Advantage: Experience handling audits from European / American / Japanese / Korean customers

Language Proficiency

  • English: Able to conduct audit meetings and write professional reports

  • Malay: Fluent communication with local teams and authorities

  • Mandarin: Able to understand work instructions and conduct basic communication

Core Skills & Competencies

System Management

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements

  • Able to independently manage and maintain QMS

  • Experienced in audit planning, execution, and reporting

  • Familiar with customer audit expectations and focus areas

  • Confident in leading audit meetings and follow-up actions

Quality Tools

  • Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why)

  • Process flow chart preparation

  • Continuous improvement mindset

Working Day: Isnin-Jumaat 08.30 am -05.30 p.m
