Production Operator (Senai)

Working Days & Hours:

• Working Hours: 45/week
• Work Days: Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm)
• Saturday (From 8:00am to 12:00pm)

Job Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (maximum 60 hours per week including overtime)
• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty and fast-paced environment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Minimum SPM/Diploma
• Minimum of one year working experience in manufacturing sector
• Basic computer skills (added advantage)
• Strong leadership skills; ability to lead a team effectively

Job Scopes:

• Assembly and Production: Assist in the assembly or manufacturing of products, including operating machinery, moving materials, and performing manual tasks as needed.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials and finished products, ensuring that all materials are stored properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Machine Operation: Operate basic manufacturing machinery following safety protocols and instructions.
• Quality Control: Inspect products or components for defects or deviations from specifications and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly, and that work areas are free of debris.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate protective equipment, and immediately report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, supervisors, and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Other Duties: Perform other general duties as assigned by the supervisor, including routine maintenance tasks, basic troubleshooting, and assisting in other areas of the production process.
