Employment Type: Contract (3 Months)
Salary: RM3,000 - RM3800 per month
Working hour: 9AM - 6PM (Monday-Friday)
About the Role
This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, training coordination, and employee engagement activities. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR team, local recruiters, and external training service providers to ensure smooth and timely HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Assist the HR Specialist in managing and processing staff movements, including new hires, confirmations, contract expirations, and resignations
- Update and maintain employee attendance and leave records in the HR system
- Review and ensure job descriptions are properly documented and filed
- Organize and maintain employee personal files accurately and in a timely manner
Recruitment
- Act as a point of contact for recruitment activities, including hiring requisitions, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, selection, and offer management
- Support pre-employment and post-employment activities
- Maintain and update HR induction materials
- Conduct onboarding induction sessions for new employees
- Coordinate off-boarding processes and documentation
- Ensure timely collection and submission of all required employment documents
Learning & Development
- Coordinate with external training vendors
- Review training quotations, contracts, and agreements
- Assist in training fee negotiations and coordination
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of HR operations with hands-on experience in end-to-end HR processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and action-driven
- Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
