IMMEDIATE VACANCY: ADMIN ENGINEERING

RM2,000 – RM2,200 per month

Job Description

This role supports engineering and facility operations, focusing on spare parts administration, purchasing, and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage spare parts inventory, including new spare part setup and replenishment of existing items
  • Source RFQs from existing and new vendors
  • Handle purchasing activities and issue Purchase Orders (blanket and non-blanket orders)
  • Maintain and update Ariba PO tracking files on a daily basis
  • Track PO approvals and follow up with approvers when required
  • Monitor spare part deliveries and coordinate with suppliers
  • Arrange carriers or transporters for overseas spare part deliveries
  • Perform Goods Receipt (GR) process
  • Assist in engineering stock count activities
  • Perform daily updates of WWTP operations
  • Submit weekly DOE reports via MDMR system
  • Support project engineers with PO issuance and related tasks
  • Assist facility engineer with CEB management, including PO issuance and GR process
  • Manage replenishment of WWTP and DI chemicals
  • Support engineering store operations (spare part dispensing, posting, and new part creation) during storekeeper absence

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an engineering or spare parts administrator in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in consumer goods manufacturing will be an added advantage
  • Minimum education: SPM / STPM / Diploma
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields are encouraged to apply
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and presentation tools
  • Experience with Google Workspace is an added advantage
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
