We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer / Technician to join our IT team. This role is pivotal in providing end-user support, managing inventory and procurement, and ensuring seamless onboarding and onboarding of users. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in desktop support, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and security tools, along with a basic understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Track and manage IT assets, ensuring proper inventory levels.
- Oversee procurement processes for new equipment and software licensing as needed.
- Coordinate and execute onboarding and onboarding tasks, including setting up user accounts, provisioning hardware, and granting required access rights.
- Ensure prompt removal of accounts and permissions for departing users.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including email, collaboration tools, and OneDrive/SharePoint management.
- Deploy and maintain security tools, such as antivirus software and DNS security solutions.
- Perform regular patch management to keep devices up-to-date and secure.
- Maintain backup solutions to ensure data protection and availability
- Basic understanding of Azure and Entra Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with architectural tools like Autodesk is an advantage.
