Procurement and Inventory Assistant (Miri)

Job Summary:

• Your role involves providing support for the organization's procurement and inventory management functions. Your main responsibilities include assisting in the procurement process for goods and services, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.

This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining and preparing quotations and keying in into system (Ariba/Smart GEP etc.).
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to track order status and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and update regularly.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to procurement and inventory activities.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
• Basic understanding of procurement and inventory management principles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal (Bahasa Malaysia and English).
• Proficient in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Working Conditions

• Based in Miri, Sarawak
• The role may involve occasional lifting and handling of inventory items
• Flexible working hours may be required to meet project requirements, urgent procurement needs and communication with international suppliers.

Salary Range :

• RM1700
