Job Description
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To propose, design and implement the control program based on project requirements, involving multi-range of PLC controllers, HMI’s and computers, separately or in combination.
Complete all assigned tasks or projects in a minimal supervision, accurately and in a timely manner.
To monitor the work progress, perform system setup & commissioning and documents preparation.
To assist team leader/lead engineers in creating, updating, revising the programming, HMI graphics, AutoCAD drawings or Microsoft documents.
To be on-site assists during project commissioning, system start-up and handle technical problem in an effective manner.
Proactively coordinate with project managers, engineers, field technicians, field helpers, mechanical contractors and customers.
To liases with vendors/suppliers on materials, parts or any tools according to project requirement; and raise purchase request to make ordering. Ensure all parts are in timely delivery without delaying project schedule.
To ensure all assigned tasks/projects’ costs are controlled within project budget and compliances of cost allocation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years of project experience in any brand of PLC and HMI programming.
Project experiences in Allen-Bradley or siemens PLC controller from industry automation field is highly preferred.
Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic, structured text and VB scripting.
Ability to read and interpret PLC wiring diagrams, Control Narratives and P&ID Drawings.
Ability to use AutoCAD & Microsoft office tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with minimal language in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
Ability to take initiative to plan, propose and source technical solution.
Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment, and MUST be able to meet demanding work schedule.
