Job Description

JOB SCOPE

1. Accounting Responsibilities

  • Handle day to day accounting operation: journal entries, payments, receipts, bank reconciliation in accordance with companies’ policies and procedures.
  • Manage general ledger, account receivable, and account payable.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end stock take reports, ensuring that inventory records are accurate and in line with financial reporting requirements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget reports and monitor actual performance against the budget and report variances.

2. Purchasing Responsibilities

  • Source and coordinate with supplier in terms of cost, quality, delivery schedules, and services for the products purchased.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Communicate with stock receiver to ensure that goods are received on time and in proper condition.

3. Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Assist with payroll processing, including calculations, and deductions.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports related to EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and HRDF to the relevant authorities on time.
  • Manage and organize HR documents, including employee records, attendance, leave requests, and other confidential information.
  • Support employee relations and help with general HR inquiries or policy implementation.

4. Auditing and Compliance

  • Liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits.
  • Assist in handling audit queries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support tax-related matters, including preparing data for tax filings and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

5. Others

  • Maintain and upkeep proper filling and documentation.
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignment and any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

REQUIREMENT

  1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting
  2. Possess at least 3-5 years working experience (F&B a plus)
  3. Hands-on experience in handling full set account
  4. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  5. Familiar with Autocount, MS Excel, Google Sheet
  6. Female, 23-35 years old
