Service Engineer (Kuching/Bintulu)

Job Location(s) and Number of Opening :

• Kuching - 1 Pax
• Bintulu - 2 Pax

Working Days & Hours :

• Working Hours: From 0800 am to 1700 pm (Weekdays), From 0800 am to 1230 pm (Weekend)
• Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Possession of a valid Class D driving license
• Strong technical knowledge in hydraulic, engine, and electrical systems
• Able to work independently and travel to sites when necessary
• Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage, especially for communicating with China-based manufacturers and suppliers.

Job Scopes :

• Manage Workshop Operations: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and scheduling of all workshop activities.
• Team & Resource Coordination: Allocate manpower, supervise job progress, and provide technical guidance to ensure efficient operations.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of maintenance reports, work orders, equipment histories, and warranty records in line with SANY procedures.
• Performance & Budget Management: Monitor workshop KPIs, control repair/maintenance budgets, and support staff training needs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate service activities across East Malaysia and liaise with customers and China manufacturers for technical support.
