Job Description

Working Days & Hours:

  • Working Hours: From 8am to 5pm
  • Work Days: Monday to Friday, Saturday (Half Day)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, including architectural and structural plans.
  • Familiarity with Syfonic Roof Drainage Systems is an added advantage.
  • Eagerness to learn and participate in hands-on site work, including plumbing-related tasks.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites in Penang, Johor Bahru, Sabah, Sarawak, and occasionally overseas.
  • Mandarin speaking is an added advantage, especially for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and contractors.

Job Scopes:

1. Project Planning:

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and requirements.
  • Organize and lead kick-off meetings with site personnel.

2. Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, design engineers, and contractors.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate with departments (e.g., procurement, construction) to ensure alignment.
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, labor, and materials to meet monthly progress claims.

3. Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with specified standards, regulations, and approved drawings.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct site inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise and manage workers on-site, including the coordination of deliveries and material storage.

4. Risk & Supervision Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and adapt plans as needed to overcome challenges.

5. Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Ensure all project changes are documented and communicated.
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of Method of Statement (MOS) and material lists.

6. Communication & Teamwork:

  • Facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to management and clients.
  • Work collaboratively with teams on-site and off-site.

  • Salary Range: RM4,000.00 to RM5,500.00
