Job Description

Working Days & Hours:

  • Working Hours: From 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
  • Work Days: Monday to Friday only
  • Weekends on standby

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a local Sarawakian and based in Bintulu, Sarawak
  • Has strong sales experience in Heavy Industries
  • Willing to travel outstation
  • Has a valid driving license class D (car)

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Present, promote, and sell products or services to new and existing customers
  • Negotiate and close deals to maximise profit for the company
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction in product, delivery & services
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product and/or service solutions.
  • Follow up closely on payment due/collection
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Willing to travel outstation and work on odd hours, if required.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
  • Report sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback to Sales Manager or Director.

Skills:

  • Able to speak/write English, Bahasa Melayu, Iban, etc
  • Proficiency in tools Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc
  • Outspoken and self-motivated
  • Has the initiative to learn, manage & develop strategies to achieve sales growth
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
