We are a growing retail business with a strong presence in Malaysia, Singapore, and across Asia, as well as in Middle East. As we prepare for our next phase of growth, including a potential public listing, we are seeking a strategic HR Head to lead Human Resources with oversight of IT and Office Administration. This role will ensure our people, culture, and systems are well-positioned to drive long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the group-wide Human Resources strategy, aligning people initiatives with business growth and long-term organisational sustainability.
- Develop and lead the HR team across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Middle East, covering talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and compensation & benefits.
- Design organisational structures, workforce plans, and capability-building frameworks to support retail and events operations across all regions.
- Drive culture transformation, employee engagement, and change management to build a high-performance, future-ready organisation.
- Ensure governance of HR policies, compliance, and risk management across all markets, maintaining alignment with local labour laws and international best practices.
- Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans to strengthen organisational capability and readiness for growth.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the IT department, ensuring systems, infrastructure, and POS retail platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with operational needs.
- Support IT system enhancements and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and retail service quality.
- Oversee Office Administration, including facilities, employee and corporate insurance, procurement, and maintenance, ensuring effective governance and cost efficiency.
- Mentor and develop HR, IT, and Administration leadership teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
- Strengthen insurance and risk management frameworks to provide comprehensive employee coverage, corporate protection, and business continuity
 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of senior HR leadership experience, with proven success in managing regional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to shape group-wide people strategies, with oversight of IT and Administration functions.
- Deep knowledge of Malaysian labour law with exposure to regional compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Forward-thinking leader with hands-on execution capability, able to influence at senior levels and drive transformation.
