Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and people-oriented HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function and support the organization’s growth. The role is responsible for overseeing HR strategy and operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. The HR Manager will act as a trusted partner to management while fostering a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR team in managing end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and performance management.
  • Partner with management to identify workforce needs and implement effective talent strategies.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks to align with business goals.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to strengthen morale, culture, and retention.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Provide guidance on employee performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, statutory regulations, and best practices.
  • Oversee HR projects such as digitalization, process improvement, or change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
