We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead and expand our business in one or more of the following areas: international student recruitment, educational technology (EdTech) solutions, or corporate training programs. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in education sales, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to build meaningful partnerships across international markets, institutions, or corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies specific to:
- International Student Recruitment: Collaborate with agents, institutions, and partners to recruit students for overseas and local academic programs.
- EdTech Sales: Promote and sell digital learning platforms, tools, and solutions to educational institutions.
- Corporate Training: Offer customized learning and development programs to corporate clients and HR departments.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base across assigned territories or verticals.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with education institutions, corporate partners, recruitment agencies, and government bodies.
Lead the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
Represent the company at education fairs, trade shows, virtual webinars, and networking events (locally and internationally).
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, academic, and operational teams to align on delivery and client success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of proven sales experience in student recruitment, EdTech, or training services.
- Familiarity with education systems (local and international), student recruitment channels, or B2B sales for training.
- Experience working with agents, schools, universities, or corporate HR/learning departments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in CRM systems and digital collaboration tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel when required (domestic and international).
- Priority given to those who can start work IMMEDIATELY
Preferred Attributes:
- Existing network of education agents, school counselors, EdTech buyers, or corporate clients.
- Experience with government-funded programs, scholarship schemes, or HRDF-claimable training (for Malaysia-based roles).
- Multilingual ability or cultural familiarity with key markets (e.g. ASEAN, China, Middle East, or India)
