Executive, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment)

Working Days & Hours :

• Working Hours: From 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Work Days: Monday to Friday only

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant working experience.
• Diploma / Degree in Safety, Health & Environmental Study.
• Must possess a valid Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM) certificate and be registered with the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia.
• Preferable with a valid Authorized Gas Tester (AGT) certification.
• Experienced in managing safety, health and environmental in the oil & gas/ship building/ship repair sector and able to manage suppliers, subcontractors and customers effectively.
• Basic Computer skills i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
• Proficient in English language, Malay language, both spoken and written. Mandarin will be advantage.

Job Scopes

• Maintain safe working conditions and practices for all employees.
• Ensure good housekeeping in the project site.
• Ensure that adequate personal protective equipment is issued, maintained and used in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Encourage safety suggestions and act upon them immediately.
• Ensure that safety rules and regulations are complied with and explained to the employees and Contractor.
• Rectify all unsafe conditions and hazards at the project site
• Conduct regular Safety Meeting.
• Identify training needs in respect of safety skills.
• Carry out investigation against his employees of all serious, fatal and significant incidents including compiling reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• In case of serious or fatal accident to follow up and ensure recommendations made are complied with.
• Conduct audits or survey whenever required or when he considers it to be necessary.
• Undertake any other related by superior from time to time.
