SENIOR A&P MANAGER
(Based in Taman Mayang, Petaling Jaya)
Job Summary
This role leads the company’s advertising and promotional efforts to improve brand visibility, attract more customers, and support sales growth across all outlets. This includes planning, running, and reviewing national marketing campaigns, as well as creating marketing plans tailored to specific locations. This role also involves managing a team to ensure all marketing activities are carried out effectively and align with the company’s branding. The position requires strong teamwork with other departments and outside partners to ensure clear communication and consistent results. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and confident working in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of integrated national marketing campaigns, including ATL and BTL strategies.
- Oversee the annual A&P calendar, ensuring timely roll-out of initiatives aligned with business objectives and brand direction.
- Drive creative marketing approaches and customer engagement programs that strengthen brand equity.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior A&P team members to achieve operational excellence and consistent output quality.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to the team in campaign planning, design, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to design and execute outlet-level promotional activities that support upselling, cross-selling, and geo-targeted marketing
- Develop outlet-centric LSM (Local Store Marketing) initiatives tailored to local demographics and market behavior.
- Conduct sales briefings and product launch communications to the Operations Team to ensure full awareness and effective campaign execution at store level.
- Motivate outlet teams to actively participate in promotions through clear communication of goals and benefits.
- Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness against KPIs and sales objectives.
- Provide detailed post-campaign reports, including ROI analysis, consumer feedback, and improvement recommendations to management.
- Manage the design, production, and placement of Point of Sale Materials (POSMs), ensuring visibility and effectiveness in promoting campaigns and products.
- Recommend innovative in-store display ideas to enhance promotional appeal and customer experience.
- Assist in sales, marketing, corporate sales, and business development events and initiatives as needed.
- Support cross-functional projects that contribute to the company’s overall branding and marketing goals.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to continuously refine A&P strategies.
- Ensure all promotional materials and campaigns maintain brand integrity and adhere to corporate guidelines.
- Monitor A&P budget allocations for campaigns and promotions, ensuring cost efficiency and value maximization.
- Prepare budget forecasts, track expenses, and manage vendor contracts related to marketing activities.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with internal policies, local regulations, and brand standards
Requirements
- Strategic and visionary. Strong leadership, team development, and campaign planning capabilities.
- Proven track record in brand building, campaign execution, and marketing performance management.
- Solid understanding of integrated marketing (ATL & BTL), brand positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
- Proficient in marketing tools, data analysis, and performance tracking systems.

Salary RM9,000 - RM14,000, to commensurate with experience.
