Job Description
Job Responsibilities:-
Accounts Management
- Handle day-to-day billing and invoicing for clients.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely collections.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including sales, expenses, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in accounting systems.
- Assist in preparing documents for external audits and tax filings.
Administrative Support
- Manage office administration tasks, including ordering office supplies, maintaining equipment, and organizing files.
- Oversee employee records, leave applications, and payroll coordination with the HR department.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondence for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Customer and Vendor Relations
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
- Liaise with vendors for office services and procurement needs.
- Provide general support to the sales and operations teams for administrative tasks.
Other Duties
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management team to support business operations.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency in account and administrative functions.
Qualifications:-
Educational Background
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts and administrative roles, preferably in IT, outsourcing, or service-related industries.
- Familiarity with SME environments is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., auto count software, or similar).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance in Malaysia.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to handle both accounts and general administrative responsibilities.
- Familiarity with IT industry terminology is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Details:-
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Location: Office-based in Kota Kinabalu, with occasional travel between branches if required.
- Salary Range: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
