Production Team Leader (Kuching)

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM/STPM, Certificate, or Diploma in any field
At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in relevant production management software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work in various shifts and adapt to changing production demands

Job Scopes:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure smooth operation and adherence to production schedules
Assign tasks to team members and monitor their performance to ensure quality and efficiency
Provide guidance and training to team members on production processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures
Oversee the setup and operation of production machinery and equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure adequate supply for production needs
Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Report on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and quality, to management
Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implementing corrective actions
Motivate team members to meet production targets and quality standards, addressing any performance issues as necessary
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure a smooth production flow
Any ad hoc duties as assigned or instructed through a duly authorized person of the company.
