Civil Engineer (Kuching)

Working Days & Hours :

• Working Hours: From 8am to 6pm
• Work Days: Monday to Friday only

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have at least 3.0 CGPA.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Computer literate (MS Office and CAD software)
• Good written & verbal communication: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Sarawakian will be an added advantage.

Job Description :

• To participate or engage in the project site(s) assigned by the company.
• Participation or engagement in the project site(s) assigned include but not limited to the following: -

1. To inspect and monitor construction works in accordance to drawings, specifications and instructions of the authorised officer(s) as per site organisation chart.
2. To conduct quality control and quantity check of all materials delivered to the project site(s) in accordance to the specifications of the contract prior to acceptance of delivery.
3. To identify and report defects to the immediate superior and provide suggestion(s) for rectification and correction.
4. To monitor site progress and assist to prepare reports as per required by the immediate superior.
5. To monitor site safety and health issue and to report to the immediate superior in respect to any non-compliance of Safety and Health Policy and Protocols
6. To maintain proper records and documentations for the activities at Project Sites.

• Any other task(s) or assignment(s) may be given by the superior from time to time.
