Job Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent is responsible for:

  • Performing Accounts Payable (AP)/ Receivable (AR) activities for multiple entities/countries;
  • Participation in Shared Service continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Delivering high levels of customer service;
  • Ensuring own work adheres to Electrolux policies and procedures;
  • Working with own team and/or with other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acting as a specialist and first point of contact for one or more specific AP/AR tasks or IT applications;
  • AP/AR closing and reporting;
  • Responsibility for quality, efficiency and timeliness of process documentation, work shadowing and training of other team members;
  • Coaching and supporting other team members in achieving team and individual goals;
  • Maintaining high level of customer service;
  • Providing methods to avoid repetitive mistakes within the team;
  • Assisting with monthly and yearly closings and account analysis and supporting the AP/AR team leader in carrying out the responsibilities of the AP/AR department;
  • Reporting to direct supervisor of any deviations from agreed standards (delays, use of wrong templates, missing input);
  • Preparing process maps and desktop procedures;
  • Understanding business environment;
  • Participating in knowledge transfer and process documentation to secure a safe transfer of AP/AR work from Finance departments abroad to the Shared Service;
  • Supporting, if required, other process areas e.g. during peak periods of work;
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the AP/AR process area and Shared Service as a whole;
  • Actively undertaking activities to increase own competency portfolio;
  • Working as a member of the team, participating fully in team activities, taking responsibility for team goals and coaching and supporting other members of the team to increase their competencies and skills;

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in finance, accounting or any related.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, JDE, Copics;
  • Experience in customer service, min 1 year of working experience in finance and accounting activities, competent and experienced in AP/AR activities, good knowledge of accounting principles, activities and processes, awareness of internal and external business environment, good understanding of the relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment;
  • Passion to innovation, customer obsession, drive for results, communicative, team orientated, with analytical thinking, patient, paying attention to the details, organised, training skills, taking ownership and responsibility of outstanding issues and queries;
  • Transition experience or SAP implementation experience;
  • Experience of working in a / within a multicultural, international environment;
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Associate level.

REQUIRED LANGUAGES:

  • English is compulsory. Vietnamese is necessary for Vietnam market.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,500.00 to RM4,000.00 /month
