Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:-

  • Investigate automotive problems and suggest services to customer, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records and examining service schedules.
  • Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions.
  • Prepare estimated costing by parts, labors, and lubricants.
  • Prepare job orders and key in into company system.
  • To follow up with “Work In Progress” and daily update to customer till job is completed.
  • To ensure Service History for each customer is recorded and updated accordingly.
  • To update Service Manager and Customer Service Manager on daily job order status.
  • Follow up on open jobs and coordinator with Service Manager to close the jobs.
  • Participating in Joint Inspection Activity.
  • Soliciting information need for warranty and provide to Customer Service Manager for claim submission.
  • Placing back order to Parts Department in the event there is no parts available.
  • To ensure completed vehicle is tested thoroughly by workshop supervisor.
  • To ensure all vehicle settings (i.e radio, air-cond and seat adjustment) is returned back to original before returning to customer.
  • Follow up with customer after service (3 days after service and 3 months after service).
  • Maintains customer rapport. (follow up closely with customers and answering customer’s inquiries)
  • Performs other duties as per requested.

Job Requirements:-

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma in Automotive or relevant qualification.
  • Candidate with 3-4 years of related working experience will has additional advantage.
  • Well expose and good knowledge in Automotive industry.
  • Candidate must be able to write, present and respond to customers and staff members in a professional manner.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Candidate must be able to cope with pressure and minimum supervision.
  • Candidate must be able to work on alternate Saturday.
  • Only open for Malaysian applicants.
