Job Description:

Responsibility
  • Arrange Air / Sea Import / Export and Local transport shipments.
  • Coordinate independently with container haulier, shipping carrier and warehouse to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
  • Handling overseas enquiries pertaining to air / sea traffic with quotation.
  • Preparation of NOA, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill and invoicing.
  • Monitor orders and ensure payment terms are being adhered
  • Manage customer expectations in terms of operation flow, shipment delays, and documentation and related KPIs.
  • To ensure that all aspects of freight import/export operations are managed efficiently and effectively to ensure that service standards are met at all times.
  • To ensure that the forwarding and dispatch of goods and any other requirements are achieved within agreed specific client service standards.
  • To ensure that all documentation is filed as per operational and company
  • To ensure that self and all team members comply with company delegated authorities and all finance related policies
  • Distribution of flyers and Sailing schedule via email.
  • Handle general calls, faxes and email and correspondences
  • Maintain orders of key account customers (include order follow up)
Pre-requisite
  • Candidate must possess at least post graduate diploma or related qualifications
  • An organised, meticulous and disciplined person with good eye for details.
  • Able to work in team as well as independently
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment, self-motivated that promotes good team work among co-workers and willing to learn attitude
  • Good proficiency in written and spoken English with capability to take meeting minutes
  • Proficient in MS Office –word, excel, power point
