Job Description:

  • Candidate must possess at least STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Wiring, Hardware installation
  • Preferably Non-Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent.
  • Final salary depending on experience & Medical benefits, etc negotiable during final interview
Main Purpose of Role:                         
The main purpose of this role is to ensure product hardware are installed, configured and serviced adequately to ensure optimum performance. This is a hands-on role with requirement to travel frequently to be on-site for all installation & maintenance jobs. In doing so the Installation Technician will be responsible for:
  • Installation of all hardware per project requirement
  • Configuration of Guardian units accordingly to GSM specifications
  • Replacement of damaged hardware components when necessary
  • Uninstallation of all hardware components at the end of trials with potential clients
  • Planned preventive maintenance with clients according to company SOP
  • Troubleshooting Guardian issues independently / with support.
  • Perform other administrative duties as necessary
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Malaysian ONLY
  • Computer literate – mandatory
  • Engineering or Technical educational background is preferred
  • Practical understanding of network technology is preferred
  • Demonstrates technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrates customer service experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
