Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  1. Working with the finance team and being responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s full set of accounts, tax computation and related matters, including that of the Singapore Company. 
  2. Taking the lead of all financial, taxation, management reporting, accounting, audit and company secretarial functions. 
  3. Preparation of various monthly reports to the regional and global offices, together with the board papers. 
  4. Undertake the monthly financial analysis of the company together with various ad hoc analysis. 
  5. Preparation of budgets and re-forecasting of results throughout the financial year. 
  6. Management of the Company’s cash flow. 
  7. Assist in the development, management and tracking of internal performance measures, budgets and KPI’s. 
  8. Lead the development of the Company’s administration functions, operational & financial processes & flows and internal control systems.
  9. Assist in ensuring compliance to accounting standards, statutory (IRB, GST etc) and other external requirements. 
  10. Comfortably liaise with various external parties, such as; external auditors, lawyers, advisors, tax agents and statutory bodies.
Requirements: 
  1. Possess a great working attitude, a proactive nature and willingness to learn. 
  2. Have an excellent understanding and experience in project accounting and some experience in manufacturing accounting would be ideal. 
  3. Possess a good ability to manage, track and report on budgets, financial forecasts and its analysis. 
  4. Comfortable in preparation and submission of group reporting and Board packs. 
  5. Ability to work independently, meticulous, matured and detailed in your approach to work and assignments. Able to effectively function under pressure in meeting deliverable and deadlines. 
  6. Essential to be able to manage ad-hoc assignments and multitask.
  7. Have an eye for detail and diligent in follow ups of the delivery and completion of assignments. 
  8. Possess at least 15 years of relevant working experience, and a minimum of 3 years audit experience, would be ideal. 
  9. Good computer skills and well versed in computer based software. 
  10. Possess good working knowledge of finance/ accounting standards (Malaysia Accounting Standards and IFRS), taxation, processes and internal controls.
  11. Excellent reporting skills with an excellent command of written and spoken English. 
  12. Possess either a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional degree or qualification in the field of Accountancy or Finance or relevant working experience.
